Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your Intexting account and everything in it at any time — from the app, or without logging in. Deletion cannot be undone.

Delete from the app or web

Log in on the mobile app or at app.intexting.com with your email, password or Google sign-in.

Open your profile from the avatar menu at the top of the screen.

Scroll to the Delete Account card at the bottom of the page.

Select Delete Account. You’ll be warned that deleted accounts cannot be recovered.

Confirm with “Yes, Delete”. You are logged out straight away.

Your email app will open with a pre-filled request to our data protection team. Send it from your registered address.

What we delete

✕Account details — name, email, password, phone number and avatar

✕All audio recordings, uploads and live mic streams

✕Transcripts, minutes, summaries and every generated document

✕Team invites, workspace memberships and shared access

✕API keys, sign-in tokens and active sessions

✕Marketing and notification preferences

What we must keep — and for how long

Invoices & transaction IDs · up to 7 yearsRequired for tax, accounting and payment disputes.

Security & abuse logs · up to 90 daysStored with anonymised IP addresses.

Proof of your deletion request · 3 yearsA hashed record of the date and confirmation email only.

We never store card numbers — payment gateways handle them.

Deletion timeline

Immediately

Sessions ended, account locked and subscriptions stopped.

24–72 hours

Audio, documents and profile media removed from cloud storage.

Within 30 days

Database records deleted and backups overwritten.

Active subscription? It is cancelled automatically and you won't be charged again. Unused time in the current billing period is not refundable, so you may want to delete once your cycle ends.
